Basic Scale and Nature of Post: BS-17 Women Medical Officer (On Regular Basis)

Prescribed Qualification/Experience: To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. MBBS Qualification: Applicants must hold an MBBS qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC)/Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC).
  2. Registration: Candidates should be registered with PMDC/PMC.
  3. One Year House Job: Candidates must have completed one year of regular House Job.

Important Notes:

  • Applicants should have passed their MBBS examination and completed one year of House Job by the closing date for the submission of online applications to the Punjab Public Service Commission.
  • Candidates must produce a certificate of Full Permanent Medical Registration from PMC/PMDC issued on or before the closing date for eligibility.
  • If PMDC/PMC Registration Certificates have not been issued yet, candidates can still be considered eligible if they provide evidence of applying for such registration on or before the closing date.
  • Candidates who have applied for the renewal of their expired registration after the closing date will also be considered eligible.
  • Provisional PMDC/PMC registration certificates for house jobs will not be accepted for eligibility.

3. Equivalence Certificate for Qualifications: If you claim that your qualification is equivalent to the prescribed qualification, you must submit an equivalence certificate from the Competent Authority of HEC/PMDC/PMC/PEC & QEDC of the concerned Administrative Department. This certificate will be accepted by the Commission as final. Failure to provide this certificate at the time of the interview or when requested by the Commission will result in the cancellation of your candidature.

4. Proof of Experience in Private Firms/Entities: If you claim experience gained in a private firm/entity, you must provide proof at the time of the interview that the firm/entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms, or any other Regulatory Authority. Your application will be rejected if you fail to provide this proof of registration.

5. Departmental Permission Certificate/NOC: After applying for a specific post, candidates must immediately apply for a Departmental Permission Certificate/NOC in their concerned department(s) and provide it at the time of the interview if called.

6. Registration in Relevant Bodies: Applicants must ensure they have obtained/applied for registration in PEC/PNC/PMDC/PMC/PVMC or other relevant bodies for Registration Certificates on or before the Closing Date. You must provide the relevant certificates at the time of the interview if called.

7. Shorthand and Typing Test Location: If required, the Shorthand Test and Typing & Proficiency Test will ONLY be held at Lahore.

8. Document Verification: Candidates must provide marks obtained, total marks, or percentage certificates for all degrees, issued by the Competent Authority, at the time of the interview. CGPA is not acceptable.

10. Variation in Number of Posts: In case the concerned department increases or decreases the number of posts, no fresh applications will be invited.

11.
