Supply Chain Agro Manager, Productivity & Capability at PEPSICO

Job Overview: As a Supply Chain Agro Manager, your mission is to lead the productivity program in the Agro function across AMESA BUs. This involves identifying opportunities, implementing best practices, and enhancing the capabilities of PepsiCo’s agronomists and suppliers/farmers. The goal is to achieve $25 million in annual savings while focusing on critical aspects such as land yield, carbon reduction, and water usage reduction.   1. Productivity Ideation Sessions:
    • Facilitate ideation sessions across BUs to identify and develop a pipeline of Agro productivity initiatives supporting the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). Ensure effective follow-up on the implementation of identified initiatives.
  2. Best Practices Roll-out:
    • Implement PepsiCo’s Best Practices and Tools for achieving productivity targets. Maximize the opportunity to lift and shift these practices, working closely with the field to develop tools sets for reapplication across various markets.
  3. Capability Building:
    • Establish a comprehensive capability program (AET: Agro Expert Trainer) with training materials for PepsiCo agronomists at different maturity levels. This program is especially critical for newly merged and acquired markets to ensure robust capabilities for day-to-day operations.
  4. Farmer Training and Demo Farms:
    • Train farmers, in collaboration with BUs, on Agri best practices to increase yield and quality. Develop the concept of Demo Farms per BU to provide hands-on training beyond formal sessions, making PepsiCo the preferred choice for farmers through added value practices.
  5. KPI Reporting and Cost Management:
