Key Responsibilities: As a Deputy Director (Engineering) through PPSC in Housing Urban Development and Public Health Engineering Department, you will play a crucial role in the planning, implementation, and management of engineering projects related to housing and town planning. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supervising engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic plans for urban development and public health engineering.
  • Conducting feasibility studies, analyzing data, and preparing reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards in all engineering projects.
  • Managing and overseeing project budgets, resource allocation, and procurement activities.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
  • Liaising with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to facilitate project approvals and permits.
  • Contributing to the development of innovative solutions to address urban infrastructure challenges.

Qualifications and Experience: To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
  • A minimum of 7 years of practical experience in civil engineering projects after obtaining the B.Sc. degree.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Civil Engineering (18 years of education) and at least 3 years of experience in the relevant field.
  • Valid Permanent Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) issued on or before the closing date is required.
  • Practical experience obtained after the prescribed qualification will be considered.
  • Experience in private entities will be accepted if the entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms, or any other Regulatory Authority.

Age Limit:

  • Male Candidates: 21 to 40 + 5 = 45 years
  • Female Candidates: 21 to 40 + 8 = 48 years

Required Documents: Applicants are required to provide the following original documents to determine eligibility:

  1. Original Valid CNIC (not expired on the last day of online application).
  2. Original Matriculation / O-level certificate showing date of birth and obtained/total marks.
  3. Original Intermediate / A-level certificate showing obtained/total marks.
  4. Original B.Sc. (Engg) in Civil or Equivalent Degree issued by a recognized university.
  5. Original M.Sc. (Engg) in Civil (18 years education) or Equivalent Degree issued by a recognized university (if applicable).
  6. Detailed Marks Certificates (DMCs) of all relevant degrees issued on or before the closing date.
  7. Original valid Permanent Registration Certificate from Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
  8. Departmental Permission Certificate (for Government Employees / Semi or Autonomous bodies).
  9. Seven years (07) experience certificate (in original) after B.Sc. (Engg) in Civil Engineering.
  10. Equivalence Certificate of qualification from HEC / QEDC of the concerned Administrative Department (if applicable).
  11. Original Domicile Certificate of any district of Punjab issued on or before the closing date.
  12. Disability Certificate (if applicable) from the Provincial Council for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons of Social Welfare Department.
