Media & TCP Lead DACH at PEPSICO Career opportunity.  We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team in Neu-Isenburg as the Media & TCP Lead DACH . In this role, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive multi-year integrated TCP (Total Connections Planning) strategies across Northern Europe and executing campaigns in the DACH region. You will report directly to the NE Media & TCP Lead and lead the Media & TCP Team in the DACH Market Unit, fostering strong collaboration with the Northern Europe structure.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Development:
    • Develop multi-year integrated TCP strategies for Northern Europe and execute campaigns in the DACH region.
    • Take full responsibility for reporting to the NE Media & TCP Lead.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead the Media & TCP Team in the DACH Market Unit.
    • Collaborate closely with the Northern Europe structure.
  • Media Partner Relationships:
    • Foster and lead relationships with key media partners, including direct negotiations with TV stations, publishers, out-of-home networks, and local digital vendors.
    • Collaborate with other PepsiCo Business Units and media agencies to unlock added values.
  • Productivity Targets:
    • Deliver DACH productivity targets using company methodology, supplemented with local initiatives.
  • Holistic Marketing Communications:
    • Encourage Business Unit categories to think holistically when developing marketing communications.
    • Communicate a consistent vision and strategy, showcasing opportunities, plans, and results.
  • Media Planning and Metrics:
    • Provide guidance, guardrails, and strategies to Marketeers for building media plans with clear critical metrics.
    • Lead and steer the media agency set-up in DACH, including resource allocation, contractual negotiations, and bonus assessment.
    • Collaborate with agencies and media partnership teams to drive scale across Total Connections Planning for PepsiCo’s brands.
  • Knowledge Sharing and Program Leadership:
    • Share best practices and new findings across categories.
    • Lead the Training & Learning (T&L) program.
  • Measurement and ROI:
    • Partner with the local Consumer Insights team to create a common measurement approach, including scorecards and tools for return on investment.
    • Lead PepsiCo’s ROI Engine delivery in the area of Media efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Professional Experience:
    • 10+ years of proven work expertise in Media/Connections/Digital Strategy, Planning, and Operations, preferably in the CPG vertical and/or at a Media Agency.
  • Language Skills:
    • Fluent in German and English.
  • Media Expertise:
    • Extensive experience in integrated media/connections strategy and planning to build brands.
    • Knowledge of media operations, productivity, buying, and contract negotiations with vendors.
  • Leadership Skills:
    • Excellent leadership and people development skills.
  • Education:
    • Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a similar field.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent communication skills to engage and influence a broad range of stakeholders through compelling and persuasive presentations.
  • Adaptability:
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and implement structured ways of working in a fast-changing environment.

THE ROLE: 

  • Develop multi-year integrated TCP strategies in total Northern Europe and campaigns in DACH, taking full responsibility in reporting to NE Media & TCP Lead
  • Leading Media & TCP Team in MU in DACH with strong cooperation with Northern Europe structure
  • Foster and lead relevant media partner relationships (i.e. direct negotiations with TV stations, Publisher, Out-of-Home Networks, local JBP development with digital vendors), linking up closely with other PepsiCo Business Units and media agencies to unlock added values
  • Deliver DACH productivity targets with company methodology, enhanced with local initiatives
  • Encourage Business Unit categories to think holistically when developing marketing communications by continually communicating a consistent vision and strategy, showcasing opportunities, plans and results
  • Partner with Marketeers providing guidance, guardrails and strategies to build media plans and market defining clear critical metrics
  • Lead and steer the media agency set-up in DACH, including resource allocation,  contractual negotiations and bonus assessment
  • Partner with agencies and media partnership teams to drive scale across Total Connections Planning for PepsiCo’s brands
  • Share best practices and new findings across the categories. Lead T&L program
  • Partner with local Consumer Insights team to create a common measurement approach including scorecards and tools for return on investment. Lead PepsiCo’s ROI Engine delivery in the area of Media efficiency and effectiveness

YOUR PROFILE:
