Position: Deputy Manager – Internal Audit As Deputy Manager – Internal Audit, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Internal Audit Head in maintaining a robust internal control framework within the company. Your expertise will help us identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
- Conduct Internal Audit Assignments: Execute internal audit assignments as per the approved internal audit plan. You will be responsible for examining and evaluating the effectiveness of the company’s internal controls, risk management practices, and governance processes.
- Risk Assessment: Collaborate with the Internal Audit Head in performing risk assessments to identify potential areas of concern and develop risk-based audit plans accordingly.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Review the status of open audit observations and work closely with relevant business units to ensure timely closure. Prepare comprehensive reports and update the management on audit findings and recommendations.
- Compliance and Governance: Compile information for quarterly BAC meetings and ensure compliance with the Code of Corporate Governance (CoCG) requirements.
- Training and Development: Assist in conducting training sessions on policies and procedures to promote awareness and adherence to internal controls and best practices.
- Business Partnership: Act as a trusted business partner, providing expert advice and guidance on audit-related matters.
Engro Energy Limited – Deputy Manager, Internal Audit Requirements:
- Qualified ACCA/CA with a strong academic background.
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience in internal audit.
- Proficient knowledge of internal control frameworks, risk assessment, and corporate governance.
