Job Description:- We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Unit Head, Credit Portfolio Analytics & CAR/IFRS 9. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing credit portfolio analytics, managing Credit Risk models, and ensuring compliance with CAR/IFRS 9 regulations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment while contributing to the growth and stability of our organization.
- Develop and maintain credit risk models to assess the quality and performance of the credit portfolio.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of credit data, identify trends, and provide insights to optimize credit risk strategies.
- Monitor credit risk metrics and ensure compliance with CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio) and IFRS 9 regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance risk management frameworks and policies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the credit analytics team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in credit risk analytics, portfolio management, and risk modeling within the banking industry.
- Strong knowledge of CAR regulations, IFRS 9 standards, and credit risk management practices.
- Proficiency in statistical tools such as SAS, R, or Python, and experience with data visualization tools.
- Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
