Job Title: Project Manager / Deputy Director

Qualification: Minimum 2nd Division Master’s Degree in Law, Sociology, Social Work, Anthropology, Gender Studies, Human Rights, Peace & Conflict Studies, or equivalent.

Domicile Quota: KP

Responsibilities: As the Project Manager / Deputy Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading the implementation of the Empowerment for Social Welfare and Human Rights Project. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing the project according to the approved PC-I and reporting to the Director, RDHR, Peshawar.
  • Managing project staff and activities, overseeing financial and record management.
  • Creating a comprehensive implementation schedule and annual work plan.
  • Delegating tasks effectively to project staff.
  • Preparing and submitting progress reports as required by the Ministry.
  • Providing quarterly physical and financial progress reports as per the Development Wing’s requirements.
  • Evaluating the performance of project staff, offering guidance and feedback.
  • Monitoring project performance and identifying and addressing bottlenecks.
  • Establishing connections with civil society organizations, UNCTs, INGOs, NGOs, academia, media, and other development partners.
  • Building strong relationships with government departments, particularly district and local governments.
  • Organizing meetings, seminars, workshops, human rights education, and community awareness programs.
  • Undertaking any other assignments given by higher authorities to contribute to the project’s success.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the development sector, planning and development, and human rights, preferably in merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
  • A Master’s Degree with at least a 2nd Division in Law, Sociology, Social Work, Anthropology, Gender Studies, Human Rights, Peace & Conflict Studies, or an equivalent field.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management and financial management.
  • Familiarity with the local context and community engagement strategies.

6. Candidates will have to produce original documents at the time of interview. Candidates already in
Government Service, will also have to produce original NOC from their departments/organizations.
7. The general age relaxation of 5 years and others in upper age limit would be granted as admissible
under the rules.
8. No TA/DA shall be admissible for appearing in test/interview.
